StoreSaathi respects the privacy of its users and the confidentiality of their business information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is used when you use the StoreSaathi website, application, account services, support channels, backup-related features, and other StoreSaathi services. By using StoreSaathi, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we may process

Depending on the features you use, information may include: account and profile information; name, phone number, email address and other contact details you provide; shop or business information you enter; product and inventory records; sales and billing records; khata/udhaar and customer records; supplier, purchase, expense, worker and salary records; reports and other records created through the app; technical, activation, support, backup or restore information needed to provide the service; and messages you send when contacting StoreSaathi for support. The exact information available depends on the version, features and services used.

2. How we use account information

We use user information only for legitimate purposes such as: creating and managing accounts; activating trials and paid plans; providing features; providing customer support; troubleshooting user-reported problems; maintaining account and service security; communicating service, activation, billing, support or policy information; and improving reliability and operation.

3. We do not sell user data

StoreSaathi does not sell users' personal information or private business records to third parties. We do not use private shop records as a product to be sold to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated businesses.

4. Private shop and business records

Sales, inventory, khata/udhaar, customer, supplier, expense, worker, purchase and reporting records are private business information. StoreSaathi does not routinely open, inspect, or monitor these private records. Where cloud backup, restore, synchronization or account services are provided, technical systems may process data as required to provide those functions.

5. Support access with user authorization

If you report a problem that cannot be diagnosed without examining relevant account or backup information: StoreSaathi will explain that access may be needed; you must provide consent/authorization before support personnel access the relevant information; access is limited to information reasonably needed to resolve the reported problem; and personnel must use it only for that support purpose. Support access is never permission to routinely inspect unrelated records.

6. Payments

Payments may be processed through external payment service providers. Information submitted directly to a payment provider is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices. StoreSaathi only makes technical claims about payment-data storage that match the actual integration in use.

7. Backups and device security

Some features may work offline, while backup, restore, synchronization, activation or online support may require internet access. You are responsible for keeping devices, login credentials, recovery methods and locally stored information secure, and should maintain appropriate backups of important business information.

8. Account deletion

StoreSaathi does not provide instant one-tap account deletion where doing so could cause accidental loss of important business information. You may request deletion through the official email or WhatsApp below. StoreSaathi may verify that the requester is authorized to control the account. After verification, the request is processed according to technical capabilities and applicable legal or operational retention requirements.

9. Data sharing

StoreSaathi may use service providers where needed for hosting, backup, communications or payments. Information is shared only to the extent reasonably required. StoreSaathi does not sell personal or private shop data.

10. Data security

StoreSaathi takes reasonable steps to protect account and business information. However, no software, device, network, backup system or online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your devices and credentials and contact StoreSaathi promptly if you believe your account or data may be compromised.

11. Changes to this policy

StoreSaathi may update this Privacy Policy as the app, website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on the official website with an updated date.
